I know, I know. It's been awhile since you've heard from me.

Admittedly, this summer has asked a lot of me. Things I didn't know that I would have to give.

I'd love to tell you that I've just been lazily spending days lounging by the pool & adventuring off on spontaneous road trips & occupied with lots of wonderful, intelligent and funny men ( I would love to be able to say this!!) but....that hasn't been the case, y'all.

Instead I've been very meticulously disassembling the foundation I've been standing on & rebuilding a foundation to support something that I've wanted for a long time. Something that I can't even totally conceptualize myself just yet's clearly coming faster than I imagined.

The process has been excruciating, challenging, draining, scary, expensive & frustrating but....this has also been one of the best times of my life. I am learning A LOT. And I'm still happy.

And it's kind of interesting because, in a broad aspect, this is exactly what I thought I'd be doing this summer.

I just thought I'd be doing it in Spain

Taking siestas in Retiro Park with my Spanish boyfriend (who I'd already affectionately named "Javi", short for Javier), while we shared tapas of jamón y pan con quesopracticed each other's languages and customs. (clearly I have a VERY vivid imagination)

But since I'm here--healing my body & intensely working on this glow up--I figured it's the perfect time to do launch the 21 Day Gratitude Project for 2017.

The 21DGPis a project I started 2 years ago to experience a deeper level of gratitude by sharing my experience with others.

Each of you is personally paired with a partner (whom you don't know!) and through 21 days of DAILY emails you connect with them by sharing something you're grateful for in your life. Or the THINGS you're grateful for. Because sometimes we just need to talk & celebrate & focus on the GOOD STUFF going on in our lives. And sometimes it feels lovely to create a deep connection with a person you may have never laid eyes on in your life. Actually, I think we can agree that feels lovely every time it happens.

Because the reality is that the only way to make joy, abundance, peace, happiness, & gratitude grow in our lives is THROUGH OUR OWN COMMITMENT TO UNAPOLOGETICALLY CHOOSE THEM. Again & again.

This project starts next week, on August 2nd, so if you want to participate, head to my blog & use the box on the RIGHT to add your name to the list.

Last year I had over 100 people & I'd love to see this group keep growing! Click here to read more & sign up.  (USE THE BOX ON THE RIGHT THO!)

Lastly, thank you for staying with me these last few weeks and caring about what I do & who I am the things I create & what I have to say.

For a girl who grew up feeling like what she had to say didn't matter..... it means a lot.

Meet my little labor of love, the 21 Day Gratitude Project.

At the beginning of 2015 I came up with an idea to connect a community of individuals via a gratitude "assignment" that would pair people--who were previously unknown to each other--together to share one thing that they were grateful for in their lives over the course of three weeks. 1 thought. Every day. 21 days. Gratitude is one of my favorite things to talk (and think!) about & the idea for this project came to me as I was looking for ways to increase my own awareness in a community setting. The purpose? Deeper meaning. Deeper connections. Deeper living. And linking up with afew people who wanted to join me in pursuit of the things that really mattered.

So here we are in 2016 and I'm back at it again! Last year I only extended the invitation to a few people in my social network (I ended up with 40) and this year I'd love to at least double the number of participants. And that's where YOU come in. I'm launching another 21 Day Gratitude Project in just 7 days (next Monday, May 23, 2016) and, if this sounds like your kinda thing, I'd love to have you join me on a 21 day journey to MORE.What exactly will it require of you? Just a willingness to focus daily on all that you have to be grateful for. And a intentional commitment to email your partner every single day during the course of the project--because they will need you just as much as you need them.

If you're wondering if this "kinda thing" is for you here's my answer to that question: when you know, you KNOW. Only you can honestly speak to where your life is right now, what you need more of and/or what you could do without. If gratitude is something that could use a boost in your life then I know you'll be feeling something in your body as you read these words. Yes, I'll be sending out some additional instructions but here's what you should really know: this is a casual & easy opportunity to carve out a meditative moment in our already full lives. And it's only a 21 day commitment--who can't get with that??

So if you're excited to join me, leave your email address in the comments OR email me at and I'll add you to the group. I'm so excited. Hope to "see" you Monday!

Interesting things have been happening in my life this week, both personally & professionally. As such, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about the power of thought and how, realistically, I need to do some work on mine (thoughts). As such, I'm switching it up for TGIF this week and want to share a few things I'm grateful for....
1. New business relationships & contacts. I've been wanting to expand into new areas for business and seem to be meeting just the people I need, when I need them.
2.  One more month & my car is paid off--hallelujah!
3. A good business partner for  Room Service Atlanta. I can't say enough about what it means to be teamed up with a like-minded professional partner--I'm a lucky lady.
4. Provision.
5. Being able to help my BFF, who's a new mom to this gorgeous little guy.
Enjoy your weekend!
